Women’s Conti Cup fixtures updated
Southampton FC Women’s FA Women’s Continental Tyres Cup fixtures have been updated following the late arrival of Arsenal FC Women into Group D.
Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side’s first match in the competition against Bristol City remains as an away game on Wednesday 11th October, 7:30pm, with the venue now confirmed as the Robins High Performance Centre.
The following fixture against Reading will now be reversed and receives a new date. Saints will now take on Liam Gilbert’s side at Aldershot Town FC on Wednesday 8th November with a 7pm kick off.
Saints will then have two home games to round off the group stage fixtures.
They will welcome Barclays Women’s Super League’s Arsenal FC Women on Thursday 23rd November, kicking off at 6.30PM at St Mary's Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur will be the last of the group action, with the WSL side heading to Eastleigh FC’s Silverlake Stadium on Thursday 25th January in a 7:45pm kick off.
Information regarding ticketing for the two home games will be released in due course, with high demand expected for both the Arsenal and Spurs games.
