Venue change for upcoming Women's games

Southampton FC Women’s games against Birmingham and Durham will now be played at Snows Stadium, home of AFC Totton.

We understand this will be disappointing to fans but this change is needed because of a suspected return of the disease which affected the pitch last season. 

By taking action now, we’ll have the best chance of maintaining a playing surface at St Mary’s fit for both the men’s and women’s teams as they pursue promotion later in the season.

We would like to thank AFC Totton for their help and support in accommodating us at short notice.

Marieanne Spacey-Cale, Head Coach for Southampton FC Women said: “Totton is like a second home for our team having played there in seasons past. It’s a fantastic ground, with a great atmosphere and I’m sure our fans will get behind us once again to make it even better. 

“We look forward to creating some special memories there in our promotion charge for the WSL and we hope to see the community come out in their support for our first game back on the 1st October.”

Women’s team Season Ticket holders and fans who have purchased tickets for the Birmingham game will be contacted directly by the club with further details.

With the move of these matches, the following applies to tickets:

• Current tickets remain valid for the new fixtures including Season Tickets. Please show these on entry at the stadium on the day. E-tickets and print at home tickets already purchased will remain valid, although these will display the original fixture date and venue.

• Tickets will allow entry to the stadium but there is no guarantee of a seat due to the limited number available.

• All ticket holders including Season Ticket holders will be emailed with full details and times of the matchday.

• Due to the venue change, should you not be able to attend Snows Stadium, please contact [email protected].

• The fixture remains on sale and all tickets purchased from now will be valid for the fixture at Snows Stadium – these are £9 adults and free for Under-18s.

• We do have a limited capacity so encourage supporters to purchase as early as possible. We shall keep fans updated on availability via the club website and subject to demand, tickets may not be available for purchase on matchday.
