We’re back on the search for the next female football coaching phenomena in Hampshire, working with our partner, Starling Bank to find the Coaches of Tomorrow.

The programme returns following the resounding success of last year's launch, which saw 20 women trained and certified as qualified grassroots football coaches, with the hope they’ll continue to break down barriers and foster inclusivity within the sport.

And what’s to say you couldn’t join them and graduate from our second cohort of future coaches?

The course takes place over 15 weeks and aims to empower the next generation of women and girls to conquer the realm of football coaching. Through the duration of the programme, we offer comprehensive training and mentoring opportunities to help you take the step in your coaching journey.

You’ll be supported through the EE Playmaker Course, a funded place on the England Football Learning Introduction to Coaching course, and 10 weeks of coaching development to help grow your knowledge and skills.

Rebecca Nichols was one of the first Coaches of Tomorrow graduates. She now coaches her local club AFC Whiteley and is enjoying a funded place on England Football Learning’s UEFA C course.

Discussing the impact of the Coach of Tomorrow programme, she said, “The Coaches of Tomorrow programme is perfect for anyone who has a passion for football. It’s a steep learning curve but I found the webinars and in person sessions had a really supportive environment that helped me thrive.

The programme set me on a path that I’d never even remotely considered a year ago. I’m now coaching a girls’ team and I’m able to support more girls into football so they can explore their passion for sport.”
