Saints will be hoping to end the group stages on a high with their first victory in the competition, following on from the draw against Dinamo Zagreb in their last cup outing.

In their return to action in 2024, Adam Asghar's side ran PL2 leaders Tottenham Hotspur close but fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat.

Cam Bragg converted a penalty and 15-year-old Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez scored on his PL2 debut, but it wasn't enough to dent Spurs' 100% run in the league.

Celtic are hunting for their first points of any form in Group B of the PL International Cup, having lost all three of their matches so far.

Stephen McManus's side ply their trade in Scotland's fifth tier domestically, currently sitting mid-table in the Scottish Lowland Football League.

In the PL International Cup, they have lost 5-0 against West Ham, 4-3 against Brighton, and 3-1 against Chelsea so far.

PREVIOUS MATCH

Luke Pearce scored a brace in Saints' last outing in the competition, helping earn his side's first point in the competition so far.

Croatian opponents Dinamo Zagreb had opened the scoring with less than one minute on the clock, but Pearce levelled the scores twice during the game as it ended 2-2 at Snows Stadium.
