Saints set for Millwall friendly
Southampton will travel to Millwall for a pre-season friendly on Saturday 3rd August (1pm BST).
It is the fourth pre-season assignment for our Men’s First Team this summer, following the short journey to Eastleigh on Friday 19th July (7pm BST) and behind-closed-doors games in Spain against French sides Bordeaux (Wednesday 24th July, 10am BST) and Montpellier (Saturday 27th July, 10am BST).
The trip to The Den sees Saints return to the scene of Ryan Fraser’s dramatic late winner back in November.
Millwall spent much of last season fighting against relegation to League One, but the return of club legend Neil Harris as manager inspired a five-match winning streak to end the campaign, ultimately securing a 13th-place finish for the Lions.
Ticket information for the visit to South East London is expected to follow next week.
