Rachel Brown arrives as latest Women's signing
Southampton FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of Rachel Brown as the club's latest summer arrival.
The versatile right-back joins after leaving fellow-Barclays Women's Championship side Sheffield United, where she spent the past two seasons.
Brown becomes the third summer signing to join from the Blades, linking back up with fellow-incomings Tara Bourne and Fran Stenson on the south coast.
After spending time at Leicester City, she dropped down to the third tier with Nottingham Forest and rose back up through the divisions, earning a move to the Championship with Sheffield United in 2022.

An Under-19 and Under-23s youth international with Scotland, Brown describes herself as a "tenacious" player looking to make an immediate impression in her new surroundings.
"I'm very excited and very grateful to be here," she said, after sealing her move. “Southampton have always been a very good club and has been competitive in the Championship.
“Hopefully I can really push on and help the team go places this season.”
