Ollie Wright signs new deal and departs on loan
Southampton's B team goalkeeper Ollie Wright has signed a new two-year contact with the club and will join Bath City on loan for the 2023/24 season.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper has been at Saints for a decade and risen through the Academy, culminating in a successful 2022/23 campaign where he lifted the Premier League 2 Division 2 title.
Wright also became a regular figure in first team training and around the travelling squad towards the end of the season.
After penning new terms at St Mary's, he will now gain further experience with his first senior loan move to the National League South side.
The club wishes Ollie the best for the upcoming season and looks forward to monitoring his development at Twerton Park.
