Josh Lett signs first professional contract
Southampton Football Club is delighted to announce that Josh Lett has signed his first professional contract, keeping him at the club until 2025.
The 18-year-old full-back has been at the club for six years, since joining in 2017, and featured heavily for the Under-18s last season.
He also broke into the B team with a run of games in the Premier League Cup and will be looking to contribute again to the squad after signing professional terms.
After signing his first professional contract, Lett reflected on his journey to reach the professional game.
"It's been a dream of mine since I was a young boy to [sign a professional contract] and I'm so thankful that I've been given the opportunity by this club.
"Being here for how long I have, I've really enjoyed the journey and I'm proud that they've given me this chance to start my career."
