Horseman and Carey depart for Forest Green
Southampton Football Club can confirm Dave Horseman has departed to join Forest Green Rovers as their new head coach.
Compensation between the clubs has been agreed, with Louis Carey also making the move to the League Two side.
Horseman and Carey have played a significant role in the tremendous recent strides taken by Saints in Academy football, including last season’s title-winning Under-21 Premier League Division Two campaign.

Both coaches also worked with the first team last term, and have been valued members of the backroom staff.
Lee Skyrme and Olly Lancashire will now head up the Under-21s programme whilst the club undertake a diligent recruitment process to appoint a new coaching team.
Southampton Football Club would like to thank Dave and Louis for their considerable contributions, both with the Academy and first team, and wish them well in their future coaching careers.
