Cam Bragg signs first professional contract
Southampton Football Club is delighted to announce that Cam Bragg has signed his first professional contract.
The 18-year-old centre-midfielder has been at the club since the age of eight and has spent a decade in the Academy ranks.
He was a part of the Under-18s Premier League South title-winning side in the 2021/22 season, before he started to break into the B team last campaign alongside the Under-18s' run to the FA Youth Cup semi-final.
After signing professional terms with the club, Bragg reflected on the next chapter of his career.
“I'm buzzing, I think when you're a young kid it's the thing you see so far in the distance but you don't realise how special it is until you come round to it.
"With some of the other boys who have signed as well, we spoke about it not long ago and realised this is the first massive step towards hopefully a long professional career at the highest level."
