A striker who scores goals for fun, Seager has a useful habit of poaching efforts inside the box – something he showed as a schoolboy at Saints with a goal for the Under-18s against Arsenal.
Ryan shone in his first full season at Under-18 level in fine form, notching 20 goals for the U18s side and making a number of substitute appearances for the Under-21s.
The young forward agreed a long-term professional deal with the club in April 2013 along with Dominic Gape, and has since become a regular fixture in Martin Hunter's U21s team.
Seager again extended his contract alongside Gape in March 2015 and ended the 2014/15 campaign with 21 goals from 27 appearances for the Under-21s.
The striker also made his first-team debut in an FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace in January, before coming off the bench again in a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City in the Premier League.
Seager's excellent form in front of goal continued in 2015/16. He sealed a loan move to Crewe Alexandra, but shortly after scoring his first professional goal a serious injury curtailed his season.
