What is the role?
We are looking to recruit a qualified Minibus Driver to transport London Academy players to and from training and match venues on a casual basis.
The Minibus Driver will be tasked with transporting Academy players to and from the London and Staplewood (Southampton) sites, host families and match venues on a varied basis from various locations within London in a safe and lawful manner, with full compliance of the Highway Code and other regulations applying to both passenger and minibus transport.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidates must hold a clean, valid driver’s license and have a recent D4 medical examination report which can be obtained through your GP. Holding the D1 category on your driving license and having completed the CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) would be advantageous but not essential. You must be available to transport as and when needed on a casual basis.
The competencies which are required include:
• Previous driving experience.
• Hold a clean, valid driver’s licence.
• Recent D4 Medical Examination Report from your GP.
• Good local knowledge of the area.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Flexible approach to work and changing schedules.
• Awareness of child protection.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• PCV (passenger carrying vehicle) entitlement (D or D1).
