What are the roles?

We have fantastic opportunities in both the areas of Bath and London (separately) to take on experienced drivers to support the day to day running of our world-renowned Academy set ups.

London
We are looking to recruit experienced drivers for our 9 seater vehicle to transport our London Academy players to and from training and match venues on a casual basis.

Work will largely consist of afternoon/evening and weekend work.

Bath
We are looking for experienced drivers for our 9 seater vehicles to transport Bath Academy players to and from training and match venues on a casual basis. A vital part of this role will be transporting players from their homes to and from school which involves early mornings every week day, afternoon and often evening routes as well.

The drivers at both sites will be tasked with transporting Academy players to and from the relevant site to Staplewood (Southampton), host family homes and match venues on a varied basis from various locations within London and Bath in a safe and lawful manner, with full compliance of the Highway Code and other regulations applying to both passenger and minibus transport.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidates must hold clean, valid driver’s licenses and have a recent D4 medical examination report which can be obtained through your GP. Holding the D1 category on your driving license and having completed the CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) would be advantageous but not essential. You must be available to transport as and when needed on a casual basis.

The competencies which are required include:

Experience Essential
• Previous driving experience.

Experience Desirable
• Awareness of child protection.

Qualifications (incl. certifications) Essential
• Hold a clean, valid driver’s licence.
• Recent D4 Medical Examination Report from your GP.

Qualifications (incl. certifications) Desirable
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• PCV (passenger carrying vehicle) entitlement (D or D1).

Skills Essential
• Good local knowledge of the area.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Flexible approach to work and changing schedules.
