Perraud back in contention
Ralph Hasenhüttl has provided a positive injury update ahead of Southampton’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Saturday.
“Romain [Perraud] is back in training,” confessed the boss. “This is good to see because he was out with groin problems but today he looked good.
“He wasn’t ready for the cup game so we tried to give him a good session on Tuesday and now we will see if he is ready for this.”
After a challenging start to the season, Hasenhüttl is confident team morale will have a positive impact on the coming games.
“The team is coming closer together, we have had a few positive results which is always good for the self-confidence, for the commitment and we’re looking forward to the next busy ten days."
