Saints face Swansea trip in the FA Cup

Looking to emulate last season's cup run which saw Saints make it all the way to the semi-finals, Ralph Hasenhüttl's side will face a trip to south Wales for a first competitive clash with the Swans since the fondly-remembered 1-0 Premier League win in 2018.

Currently in the Championship, Russell Martin's outfit sit in 14th position with former Southampton striker Michael Obafemi likely to come up against his former teammates.

All third round ties will be played across the weekend of Friday 7th January 2022.
