A trio of Saints are in action across three different continents as the international action continues today.
First up, Maya Yoshida is due to win his 89th cap for Japan, who host Panama in a friendly, which kicks off at 11.35am BST.
The Blue Samurai will use the match against England’s World Cup opponents as preparation for next year’s Asia Cup, which begins in January.
In Africa, Mario Lemina will hope to feature in Gabon’s first game under new coach Daniel Cousin, the former Rangers and Hull striker.
The Panthers need a win against group minnows South Sudan in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying (4pm BST), having taken just one point from their opening two matches.
Meanwhile, a tricky away tie in Austria awaits Steven Davis, whose Northern Ireland side are in Nations League action tonight (7.45pm BST).
Like Lemina, Davis and co need points to kick-start their campaign, having lost to Bosnia & Herzegovina on home soil in their opening game last month.
Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy had hoped to earn his first cap for England, who face Croatia in Rijeka tonight, but the Saints number one was forced to withdraw from the squad through injury.
