Reed joins Blackburn on loan

Midfielder Harrison Reed has completed a season-long loan move from Southampton to Blackburn Rovers.

The 23-year-old joins the Championship side for the rest of the 2018/19 campaign, with Rovers having enjoyed an unbeaten start to the new campaign.

It is the second season in which the Saints Academy graduate, who has made 30 first-team appearances for the club, will have gained experience in the second tier, having enjoyed a successful spell with Norwich City last term.

Everyone at Southampton wishes Harrison well for the coming season, while the club will be keeping a close eye on his progress at Ewood Park.
