The manager has confirmed that Saints have a full complement of players to chose from as the Chelsea clash nears, after fullback Cédric made a return to action against Leicester City.

Pellegrino conceded that last night's Leicester performance was way off the standard set in previous weeks - notably against Everton and Arsenal - and that his side will be dutiful in their efforts to find an immediate reaction at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

"I think everybody is okay, most of them today are training 100 per cent," Pellegrino stated.

"Josh Sims came back in to training after seven or eight months. Everyone else seems to be okay.

"Three days before [against Arsenal] we showed a completely different face, and Chelsea is a difficult side but we want to bounce back.

"At this club we are committed to being competitive, and to show our energy. I will try to analyse which players are ready because the Premier League is very demanding."
