The international action kicks off for Southampton’s players tonight, with four being involved for their respective nations.

First up young centre-back Christoph Klarer is set for action with Austria Under-18s as they travel to face their Netherlands counterparts in a friendly at the KNVB Academy in Zeist (5.30pm BST).

Ryan Bertrand and Fraser Forster are both included in the England squad to face Slovenia at Wembley in World Cup qualifying (7.45pm BST).

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions are five points clear at the top of Group F, having clocked up six victories and two draws from their eight matches thus far.

Steven Davis will lead Northern Ireland as they take on Group C leaders Germany at Windsor Park (7.45pm BST).

They have already secured second place and Michael O’Neill says the side can play the world champions with no fear.
