Jan Bednarek came off the bench to make his senior international debut as Poland saw off Kazakhstan 3-0 in their latest World Cup qualifier.

The 21-year-old Saints defender replaced Krzysztof Mączyński during the closing minutes of the game in Warsaw.

Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik gave Poland the lead after just 11 minutes of the Group E clash, before a second-half strike from Kamil Glik and a late penalty from Robert Lewandowski secured all three points.

The victory sees Poland move two points clear of Montenegro and Denmark at the top of Group E.
