The international action continues for Southampton’s players tonight, with four involved for their respective nations.

Young defender Jake Vokins will kick-off the evening when England under-18s take on their Brazilian counterparts in a friendly at Shrewsbury Town (7pm BST).

Steve Cooper’s Young Lions are now preparing for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in October, having qualified as runners-up of the Under-17 European Championships this summer.

For the senior squad, Ryan Bertrand will be hoping to start in the World Cup qualifier against Malta (7:45pm BST).

Gareth Southgate’s men will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of Group F in Ta’Qali after four wins and two draws in qualifying so far.

Elsewhere, defender Jan Bednarek travels to Denmark with Poland’s senior squad for the first time in their latest Group E qualifier.

Poland currently lead the way on 16 points, with opponents Denamark in third spot ahead of the meeting at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen (7.45pm BST).

Steven Davis will lead Northern Ireland into their qualifier away to San Marino this evening (7.45pm BST).

Michael O’Neill’s men are second in Group C, five points behind reigning world champions Germany but, crucially, four ahead of Czech Republic.
