Southampton Football Club is on the lookout for families who could help look after the Academy’s potential stars of the future.

Host families in the city and surrounding areas are being sought to accommodate young players aged from 12 to 21 during their time with Saints.

Placements vary from short-term to long-term, as well as specialist ones for trialists or as cover for other host families, with the club particularly interested to hear from people within the Marchwood, Hythe and Totton areas.

If you are interested in applying to provide a caring "home from home", then please be aware that this position is subject to a satisfactory, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) disclosure.

All applicants will also be required to undergo a full assessment with our club staff before determining their suitability. Those intending to host children under the age of 16 will be required to work within the requirements of Private Fostering Regulations.

A monthly fee is payable to the host family for the duration of the placement.
