Gardos set for Romania action

By SFC Media Mon 12 Jun International

Florin Gardos will be hoping to feature for Romania tonight as they face Chile in an international friendly.

Gardos was an unused substitute on Saturday as they lost 3-1 away to Poland in World Cup qualifying.

But he will be hoping to play some part against Juan Antonio Pizzi’s Chile at Cluj Arena (7pm BST), after being called up to the squad to replace Ludogorets defender Cosmic Moti, who was forced to withdraw.

The centre-back has been brought back into the squad by Head Coach Christoph Daum for the first time since June 2015, after a tough time with injury.
