Young Lions see off Scotland to reach final

Southampton youngster Callum Slattery watched on as England booked their place in the final of the Toulon Tournament.

Slattery was an unused substitute as the Young Lions saw off Scotland Under-20s 3-0 in the semi-finals to progress.

Leicester City's Harvey Barnes netted within the opening ten minutes to put England ahead in France, before 18-year-old Elliot Embleton of Sunderland doubled the lead shortly after half time.

Scotland rarely worried Neil Dewsnip's men and the result was soon put beyond doubt as Barnes snuck in to complete the scoreline 20 minutes from time. 

The Young Lions will now turn their attention to the second semi-final, between Czech Republic and Ivory Coast, to see how they will face in the final.
