Josh Sims has been shortlisted for April's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The 20-year-old, who also won the award back in November, played both of Southampton Under-23s' fixtures against Liverpool and Derby County during April.

He is nominated alongside Rory Hale (Aston Villa), Kieran Dowell (Everton), Mason Mount (Chelsea) and Donovan Wilson (Wolves).

The shortlist is decided by a poll of all the Premier League 2 managers, who nominated the best individual performance from each their opponents throughout the month.

The winner will then be selected by a panel of the Premier League Football Development department.
