Important day of internationals for Saints stars

Five Southampton players could potentially be in World Cup qualifying action for their countries today.

Four of those will be at Wembley with England, as the Three Lions face Lithuania in Group F of the qualifiers.

Ryan Bertrand could be set to start at left back for Gareth Southgate's men, whilst James Ward-Prowse, Nathan Redmond and Fraser Forster will also be in contention.

A win for England could see them further their two-point advantage at the top of the group.

Elsewhere, Steven Davis will lead Northern Ireland out against Norway in a 7:45pm kick-off at Windsor Park.

The Green Army have lost just one of their last 11 home internationals, and victory over Norway would see them move closer to Germany who top Group C.
