Cédric played the full 90 minutes and helped Portugal to a clean sheet as they enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 victory over Hungary in World Cup qualifying at Estádio da Luz.
It took the hosts just over half an hour to open the scoring, when Raphael Guerriero found André Silva who made no mistake from close range.
Just four minutes later, Silva turned provider for Cristiano Ronaldo’s 69th international goal, when his left-footed drive from the edge of the box found the bottom corner.
Portugal continued to assert their authority on the encounter and on 65 minutes, Ronaldo doubled his personal tally for the night when his free-kick kissed the post and left former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi with no chance.
Fernando Santos's men will be back in action on Tuesday 28th March when they face Sweden in an international friendly.
