Dušan Tadić played a big part in Serbia's 3-1 victory away to Georgia in World Cup qualifying action tonight.

The Saints playmaker netted from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time to level the scores at 1-1, after Nika Katcharava's early opener.

Things got even better for Serbia after the break, as Aleksandar Mitrović put them in front in the 64th minute, before Mijat Gaćinović wrapped things up late on, with Tadić laying on both goals.

The result means that Tadić and his fellow countrymen have 11 points from their first five qualifying matches and leapfrog Republic of Ireland at the top of Group D at least for a few hours.
