Maya Yoshida is in international action later today, as Japan take on the United Arab Emirates in World Cup qualifying.

The Blue Samurai will travel to the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium hoping to rectify their 2-1 defeat to UAE at the beginning of the campaign.

Yoshida’s side are currently joint top of the Group B table with Saudi Arabia, but sit second due to a one-goal disadvantage.

Although UAE are fourth in the table, only one point separates the two sides ahead of the match that kicks off at 3:30pm (UK time).
