Nathan Redmond says it is ‘a joy’ to be playing alongside an array of attacking talent, after his brace helped deliver a 4-3 win over Watford.
Claude Puel’s men have now recorded back-to-back wins and scored four goals in each of their last two away games.
He said: “We put the cup final to bed and it was about getting back to basics and playing as well as enjoying the football at the same time.
“The coach reiterates that no matter where we go, it’s about how we play and today was a good day with three points and two goals for myself.
“I haven’t scored since the Liverpool game so to get two I’m delighted but more important was to bounce back from the Wembley defeat. It’s a bit of a relief and we focus on the next challenge now.
“We’ve got good players. Dušan gives us creativity and Prowsey with his delivery and you saw with the fluidity and the movement of the three or four that we’ve got the players to do that.
“It helps when players like myself are driving with the ball and you see Manolo running off and Dušan coming into pockets. It’s a joy to play in.”
