Away Supporters

Away fans are housed the upper tier of the North Stand with turnstile numbers 69-72. Saints supporters can also benefit from a fan zone ahead of kick-off. Southampton will be in their black away kit for the fixture.

Getting There By Car

Take the A1 up to Junction 62 and turn off at the Durham/Sunderland exit. Then take the A690 towards Sunderland and continue on that road for about eight miles before taking a left turn onto the A19. Take another left turn onto a slip road marked Stadium of Light and then turn right on the A1231. After that, go straight over four roundabouts and through two sets of traffic lights and the stadium car park will become visible on your right about a mile after the second set of traffic lights.

Car Parking

Parking is limited around the immediate area near the Stadium of Light on matchdays and supporters are advised to use car parks at St Mary’s (SR1 3AH), Sunniside (SR1 1UL) and The Bridges (SR1 3PZ). These are located a 10-15 minute walk away from the stadium.

Getting There By Train

Sunderland train station is around 10-15 minutes away from the stadium with good links to the local Metro.

Fans can use either St Peter’s or Stadium of Light metro stops prior to the game.

Coach Travel

Coaches will depart St. Mary’s Stadium at 06:00, Eastleigh at 06:15, Winchester at 06:30 and Chieveley at 07:00.
