Southampton’s Regional Talent Club has received two further international calls from the Republic of Ireland and Wales.

Harriet Lambe has been selected to represent Republic of Ireland Under-16s for their trip to Castellon, Spain later this month.

During a two-day trip from the 15th to 17th of February the international side will play friendlies against Switzerland.

Elsewhere, Charlie Taylor has been selected for Wales Under-17s’ training camp in Cardiff.

From the 13th to the 16th of February she will take part in the camp as well as friendly fixtures against Hungary.

These international calls follow last week’s announcement that five players from the Regional Talent Club will be out representing England this month.

“It’s more great news for us,” commented Martina Heath, Head of Women’s and Girls’ Football.

“Harriet and Charlie have put in a great deal of work to get to where they are, and they really deserve this recognition - it will be a great experience for them both.

“We have had ten girls called up for international duty now, and that just goes to show our commitment to growing this set-up and helping all of our players reach their full potential.”
