Claude Puel says he has been delighted with Shane Long's recent scoring form, and believes the striker has grown in confidence in recent weeks.
The forward netted four times during the past month, starting with his header against West Bromwich Albion on New Year's Eve.
That was followed by his winner in the FA Cup replay against Norwich City, his famous added-time strike in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final away to Liverpool and then his goal in the visit to Swansea.
Puel said: "He scored again [against Swansea], and this is important. Also in the last minute against Liverpool in the cup.
"It's important he finds the goal again for the confidence and to give opportunities for the team.
"We will see this for the next game and the future, but it is not just Shane. Other players can score and can take the responsibility to shoot, or to give good crosses, or make good assists.
"It's important all players take responsibility, and I encourage them to try, to keep good spontaneity and good intention in the final third."
