Southampton boss Claude Puel says he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s trip to AFC Bournemouth.
The Saints boss, speaking to the media ahead of this weekend’s clash at Vitality Stadium, confirmed goalkeeper Alex McCarthy is back in training.
Puel will also hope to have Cédric available again after missing the 0-0 draw at Stoke City with flu, but Charlie Austin and Matt Targett are out long-term.
“Matt Targett has had surgery on his hamstring and will be out for four months,” Puel told reporters at Friday’s press conference.
“For Charlie Austin we will see this after the surgery. For the moment a specialist is looking it at. Because of that, we don’t know yet, but normally it is between three and four months.
“McCarthy has just come back into training after his hamstring injury, but after this I think we are okay for Sunday’s game.
“Cédric was ill for the last game against Stoke, but normally he comes back and is available for this game.”
