Southampton will wear a brand-new Under Armour third strip for Sunday’s game against AFC Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
The club was asked to look at an alternative for Sunday’s game against the Cherries by the Premier League, who felt Saints' current home and away strips were too similar to Bournemouth’s home shirts.
Partners Under Armour have designed a brand-new white third-choice shirt, which Saints will now be kitted out in at Vitality Stadium this weekend.
The top – which will not be available to purchase – will be accompanied by red shorts and white socks.
Saints last wore a third kit in January 2015, when they were kitted out in yellow for a 2-1 win against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Our competition to win the first white third shirt ever made has now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered.
