Claude Puel says Southampton must quickly move on from the disappointment of Sparta Praha, as attention turns to Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.
Saints were beaten 1-0 at Generali Arena in a UEFA Europa League Group K clash on Thursday night, but there is little time to dwell on that, as they prepare to face former manager Ronald Koeman and his new side, at St Mary's.
Puel said: "It was a disappointment of course with the result and also with the quality of our game. It was not sufficient to win this game, and a draw was not sufficient for us – only a victory, but that was not possible.
"It's important to keep a positive attitude, because we stay with our destiny in our hands, and this is the most important thing.
"It's a final of this group at home, in front of our fans [against Hapoel Be'er Sheva]. This will be a fantastic game and we will be ready for it.
"But now it's important to come back in the Premier League with good spirit, good attitude and a good recovery, of course.
"I think we have got to play a good game, because it is an important one – it is Ronald Koeman's team and it's a good challenge for us."
