Claude Puel says Dušan Tadić and James Ward-Prowse will be assessed on Monday after missing Southampton's 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
Tadić was left out of the squad after sustaining a broken nose on international duty with Serbia, while Ward-Prowse was also absent.
Puel said they will be looked at again tomorrow to determine their availability for Thursday's UEFA Europa League visit to Sparta Praha.
"There were some injuries," said the Saints boss. "The nose for Tadić and a muscular problem for Ward-Prowse.
"We will see on Monday if they can participate for the European game. It was difficult to lose these two players before the game, but all the other players did very good work."
Puel was also pleased to welcome back Cédric, who played the full 90 minutes after missing the last six weeks, while Shane Long also returned from injury as a late substitute.
"It's a pleasure to see those players step-by-step come back into the group," said Puel.
"Cédric played a very good game. He was aggressive, he's a good defender, and I like this. It was a very good performance today and it's important he stays at this level for the future."
