Southampton manager Claude Puel hailed the influence of goalkeeper Fraser Forster after the 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
Forster made a stunning first-half save to deny former teammate Sadio Mané, while he also made a smart second-half stop from Roberto Firmino during a commanding display.
His performance caught the eye of Puel, who highlighted his keeper's efforts.
"Fraser made a fantastic save in the first half and this is very important for the team," said the Saints boss.
"It's important for us against a good team, who had some chances, to have a good goalkeeper, and Fraser works very well, with a fantastic save, and keeps his goal without possibilities.
"But all the players around him also did very good work."
