Højbjerg returns from international duty

By SFC Media Mon 14 Nov International

Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has returned from international duty early, after picking up a slight injury.

Højbjerg had been away with Denmark, who beat Kazakhstan 4-1 in a World Cup qualifier on Friday, but it has now been decided he will sit out tomorrow night’s friendly away to Czech Republic.

The 21-year-old has instead returned to Southampton, where he will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Liverpool.
