Ticket prices set for Crawley visit

By SFC Media Tue 08 Nov Saints vs Crawley

Southampton host Crawley Town in their third game of the Checkatrade Trophy at St Mary’s on Wednesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.

The game is a decisive one for Saints who currently sit second in their regional qualification group as they prepare to welcome the league leaders in the final game of this stage.

As a Category One academy club, Saints must field a team of at least six under-21 players in the starting line-up for each game in this new-look competition.

So far, the team taken by Technical Director Martin Hunter have recorded four points from their opening two games following a win over Colchester United and a penalty shoot-out defeat to Charlton Athletic.

This is the revised version of the Football League Trophy which Saints won as a League One side in 2010 – and they will be looking to go all the way again with qualification to a Round of 32 knockout stage up for grabs on Wednesday.

Tickets are available to purchase on the night only, and are priced as follows:

£5 Adults
£3 Concessions
£1 Under-16s

What’s more, the first 1500 supporters through the turnstiles, including away fans, will receive a free copy of the matchday magazine, with remaining copies sold for £1 thereafter.

The special 16 page fold-out edition of the magazine includes a poster on one side celebrating Southampton’s academy success at first team level.
