Boufal returns to Morocco squad

By SFC Media Sun 06 Nov Sofiane Boufal

Southampton's Sofiane Boufal has been named in Morocco’s 26-man squad for their forthcoming international matches.

Next weekend they host Ivory Coast in Marrakech for the second game of their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign on Saturday 12th November.

Morocco, who were then without Boufal as he recovered from injury, drew 0-0 with Gabon in their opening game, and now face the group leaders who beat Mali 3-1 last month.

Coach Herve Renard has included Boufal in the squad who will also play a friendly against Togo on the following Tuesday at the Grande Stade in Marrakech.
