Austin up for October PFA award

Supporters can vote for Charlie Austin to be named as the Premier League's PFA Fans' Player of the Month for October.

An expert panel has produced a shortlist for the award, and Austin has been named as in contention for this month's gong.

The Saints striker has played a part in all four Premier League games this month, netting two goals against his former club Burnley in the process.

Austin is nominated alongside Callum Wilson (Bournemouth), Dele Alli (Tottenham), Eden Hazard (Chelsea), Joe Allen (Stoke City) and Theo Walcott (Arsenal).

One voting fan, who is a resident in the UK or Ireland, will win the chance to meet and present the award to each PFA Fans' Player of the Month.

Voting closes at 6pm on Tuesday evening and the winner will be announced at 10am on Wednesday.
