Dušan Tadić is expecting an open and exciting game between Southampton and Inter tonight.
The two teams go head-to-head in the San Siro, in what will be the third match of the UEFA Europa League group stage campaign.
It’s a highly-anticipated contest, and one that Tadić believes has every chance of living up to its billing.
"I expect an open game, because both teams like to play good football and to win matches and to dominate possession and the game,” he said at the pre-match press conference.
“I think it will be an interesting game also to see for the fans, but I hope we will be the stronger team and will take the three points.”
Tadić added: "For us, it's just another match, because we are professional, we are focused on every match – it doesn't matter who is our opponent. Also the coach tries to teach us that. We just need to be focused and try to take three points.”
The Saints playmaker has been in excellent form this season, and says he is feeling in superb condition ahead of tonight’s match.
"I feel really good physically and I think also in the national team and here the coaches give me a good opportunity and a good role to show my qualities,” he said.
“I think always it's possible to be even better, but just together we can become better and better. It's important we work hard every day to be better players.”
