Tadić stars in Serbia victory

By SFC Media Sun 09 Oct Dušan Tadić

Southampton's Dušan Tadić was the hero for Serbia, as he made two goals and scored the winner in their 3-2 victory over Austria.

The Saints playmaker laid on a pair of goals for Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrović in the first half of the World Cup qualifier.

However, Serbia were pegged back by the visitors on both occasions.

It didn't matter, though, as Tadić continued his superb run of form, netting a sweet right-footed strike in the 72nd minute to keep Serbia top of Group D, with seven points from three matches, just ahead of Shane Long's Republic of Ireland on goal difference.
