Virgil van Dijk and Jordy Clasie both featured as the Netherlands secured a 4-1 victory over Belarus in their World Cup qualifier in Rotterdam.
van Dijk played the duration of the encounter, while Clasie replaced Kevin Strootman as a 79th minute substitute.
Quincy Promes scored twice without response in the first-half to give Danny Blind’s side a comfortable lead at half-time.
Alexei Rios then pulled one back for the visitors on 47 minutes, but hopes of a comeback diminished when Davy Klaassen pounced on the rebound from Vincent Janssen’s shot off the post.
Janssen soon increased the lead further though when his left-footed strike from outside the box found the top right corner.
Netherlands host France in their next qualifier on Monday 10th October (7.45pm BST).
