Puel: Foxes no less of a threat

By Gordon Simpson Sun 02 Oct Leicester vs Saints

Claude Puel expects defending Premier League champions Leicester City to be no less of a challenge this season.

The Foxes produced a shock title victory last term and, although their domestic form has been a little mixed at the start of this campaign, they have already won both of their Champions League ties, including an impressive 1-0 victory over Porto in midweek.
Ahead of Saints' visit on Sunday, Puel said: "I think we will find the same team as last year, with physical play and direct play.
"Their players in front can make the difference every time. We can see from their last game in the Champions League that they are a good, strong team."

While Leicester lost 4-1 at Manchester United in their last Premier League outing, Puel believes they still showed plenty to be wary of in that encounter.
"Against Manchester United in the Premier League they conceded three goals from free-kicks, but in play they gave many difficulties to Manchester United.
"It's another game away, it will be important to negotiate this travel and this game away."
