Take a read through our in-depth match preview ahead of Southampton's trip to reigning champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
What’s at stake?
Southampton travel to Leicester City buoyed by their first away victory of the season, after a fine 3-0 success over West Ham last weekend.
Goals from the in-form Charlie Austin, Dušan Tadić, and James Ward-Prowse capped a fine performance in the capital.
And after a 0-0 draw in the UEFA Europa League against Hapoel Be’er Sheva extended the unbeaten run to five games, with five clean sheets to boot, Claude Puel’s men are in confident mood.
They will also be hoping to improve their record at the King Power Stadium, having won one of seven visits to the East Midlands, which came when they claimed a 2-1 win in December 2007.
Claudio Ranieri has called for more consistency from him side after a mixed start to the season.
Last time out in the Premier League, they lost 4-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford meaning they have now been defeated in three of their six league games, as many as they had lost in their previous 42 in the competition.
Their home form has been a cause for optimism though, with victories against Swansea and Burnley as well as a 1-0 success against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League.
Claude Puel has no fresh injury concerns following the trip to Israel in the UEFA Europa League.
Captain José Fonte, Charlie Austin, Steven Davis and Ryan Bertrand were all left out of that squad, while Jay Rodriguez and Sofiane Boufal also work towards full fitness.
In the opposition ranks, Nampalys Mendy has been ruled out with an ankle injury sustained on his Premier League debut against Arsenal in August.
Kasper Schmeichel has trained well after returning from injury for the game against FC Porto in midweek.

While Charlie Austin netted his fifth goal in four games against West Ham, there was another impressive performance from Dušan Tadic, who is clearly adapting well to Claude Puel’s system.

He scored three times in his first four games for the club, all of which have come with his head and he adds a different dimension to the Foxes attack.
