Tadić confident ahead of Leicester trip

Dušan Tadić says Southampton will take significant confidence into their trip to Leicester City tomorrow.

Saints visit the defending Premier League champions at King Power Stadium on the back of five games unbeaten and five clean sheets in a row.

"We have a lot of confidence, because we get good results in the last couple of games," Tadić said.

"It will be a really important game and we know it will be a really hard game. They are champions of England, they have a really strong team and it will be an interesting game."

Saints failed to beat the Foxes last season, letting a two-goal lead at home slip in a 2-2 draw, while they lost a tight game 1-0 away towards the end of the campaign.

Tadić felt they should have triumphed at least once against the eventual title winners.

"At home, yes. Away, it was a normal game that can go either way, but I think at home when we played them we should have beaten them," he said.

Having beaten West Ham 3-0 in their last Premier League away game, Tadić is hopeful that a repeat performance will yield more points this weekend.

"Especially the second half I think we played good and I think we should show that again," he said.

"It will be a really nice game to watch and we will see what happens."
