Jordy Clasie is hoping Saints can replicate their scintillating home form on the road when they visit West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
The midfielder completed the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 EFL Cup success over Crystal Palace, a third consecutive victory in a week.
And Claude Puel’s men visit the London Stadium for the first time focused on avenging two away defeats to Manchester United and Arsenal so far in the Premier League.
“West Ham is a very important game for us because in the first couple of games we weren’t good picking up two points from three or four games.” Clasie said.
“We want to be in Europe again. That’s our ambition, which I think you have to speak about and then you need points to do that.
“It’s a lovely stadium and I watched a game a couple of weeks ago on the television and the atmosphere is always good as it was at the old ground.
“But we go for three points again and that’s how it is every game.”
