Southampton manager Ronald Koeman says tomorrow night’s friendly between England and Netherlands will be a special one.
The two countries will face each other at Wembley Stadium, as Roy Hodgson’s side continue their preparations for UEFA EURO 2016, while the Dutch look to build again after the disappointment of missing out on this summer’s tournament.
Koeman and Saints could have interest on both sides, with Fraser Forster part of the England squad, while both Virgil van Dijk and Jordy Clasie are part of the Netherlands camp.
"It’s a nice one,” Koeman told Southampton’s official YouTube channel. "It’s a good friendly for England in preparation for the Euros.
"For Holland, it’s a good friendly, with a lot of young players, to show that they can compete at that level, because that will be important for Holland after this summer, to start on a better way the qualification of the next World Cup.
“It’s a friendly, but still it’s between Holland and England, so it’s always a little bit more special than a normal friendly."
